Welcome to Women Transformed, the women’s ministry of Lake Deerwood Fellowship! Our goal is to offer women a place to be transformed and transparent -- a place to build community and connection, to help women face life's challenges by encouraging a vital, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Women's Ministry is a very broad term used to define a multi-facet ministry. Our heart is to reach women inside and outside the church with the love of Christ, see them grow in their walk with the Lord, and apply God's Word to their lives. We want to encourage, equip, and strengthen them in their faith. Women Transformed includes Women's Bible studies, prayer meetings, monthly fun and fellowship times, a mentoring ministry and opportunities to serve. We believe that whatever gift the Lord has given each woman can be used in this ministry, from painting and drawing to teaching and singing. Women are encouraged to discover their spiritual gifts, and through prayer, learn where their passion to serve lies. It is our hope that women's ministry will equip and empower them to then carry out their own ministry of service to the church and the world. Our vision is
4-fold: So often, women feel as though they have to dress up, make up, live up and keep up with the standards placed upon them. At LDF our desire is that each woman would be what God has uniquely shaped her to be. Not a cookie cutter, not a superwoman, but a person encouraged to love God and walk by the power of His spirit through an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. New Christian, old Christian, Christian-yet-to be, we welcome you to join us as we become Women Transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. With God and our girlfriends all thing are possible. . . .
