Therefore if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.
2 Corinthians 5:17

Love Lifted Me Recovery Fellowship focuses on Christ and invites you to engage with Scripture, ultimately finding freedom from addictive and compulsive thoughts and behavior patterns such as codependency, homosexuality, pornography, chemical dependency, eating disorders, depression, emotional/physical abuse, anger and other personal struggles.

Love Lifted Me Recovery Fellowship is a Christ-centered program that provides men and women a safe place to share their hurts, habits and hang-ups with others in an atmosphere of worship, community and scripture. Our prayer is that through this ministry you will be able to exchange the struggles in your life for the abundant life that Christ came to bring to us all.

By visiting our web site you have taken an important step on your road to recovery. No matter who you are or where you've been, you can never fully get past sinful behavior on your own... only through the grace and love of Jesus Christ is true recovery available to you.

Our weekly meetings are not designed as a "quick fix" for anyone. This isn't therapy in the truest sense - it's an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with others that may share some of the same challenges in life as you. Through our time together, studying both the Bible and the Christ-centered Recovery materials, you will find that God DOES forgive your past and has a plan for your future.

It's not necessary to sign up beforehand - simply take the first step by showing up on Friday night to join others on the wonderful road to recovery.

Join us Fridays at 7pm at 180 Hickory Street (corner of Hickory and Lake) behind the HHS football stadium (Location). It is not necessary to sign up before attending, so please do not hesitate to join us and allow healing to begin. Contact Eddie McAlister for more information.

The purpose of Lake Deerwood Fellowship's Love Lifted Me Recovery Fellowship ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the 8 Recovery Principles. This experience allows us to "be changed." By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

The Recovery Fellowship's Purpose Statement

To give those of us who are recovering or have recovered from addiction a place to share, heal, overcome, and reach out to others. We strive to defeat the addictions in our lives so that we may run the race set before us and, with God’s help, be victorious upon reaching the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
