The primary purpose of Lake Deerwood Fellowship is to reach people with the “Good News” of Jesus Christ. This not only includes reaching people locally but globally. We provide an opportunity for people to become involved in global missions in two ways: One is by giving. This provides support for missions through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions, Reach Texas Missions Offering, local mission projects, support of individual missionaries and mission agencies, and short-term mission teams from LDF. Second is to go on mission trips. This year we have several opportunities for teams to participate in mission trips to Mexico and in the states. Our children are also involved with learning missions through the Kids Who Care Club. Click Here to view the Unfinished Task! Meet Our New Missionary We here at Lake Deerwood Fellowship have decided to sponsor missionary David Burk and his family. Formally known as Total Surrender Evangelistic Association, David travels all over the world sharing the true gospel and assisting churches to establish a missions presence in foreign countries. In his words they: Going wherever and doing whatever it takes to reach people, developing a missional community, and discipling believers to a place of Total Surrender!
