Our VisionOur vision is to become the kind of church described in the Bible, which extends beyond the usual in love, grace, and passion for God and His people. A church that shares God's Word in a way we can understand and apply to our lives, where we can experience heartfelt worship, develop honest friendships, and offer compassionate care to those in need. In a word, we're being real with ourselves, others, and God! Our ChurchAt Lake Deerwood Fellowship we aren't perfect people, but we are real people that have discovered the joy and peace that only comes from a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and that nothing is too big or too small for God. If you don't have a church home come give us a try and discover God's plan for your life. Who are we? We are a collective community of people just like you. Just like any community, we all have differences - different tastes in music, food, politics, etc. Some of us are extroverts and some are introverts, some pessimists and some optimists, some doubtful and some full of faith. However, we also share much in common - we are all busy, we all have hurts and fears, we all have dreams we hope to accomplish, we all have questions about life and it's meaning, we all desire community and meaningful relationships and we all have a common desire for spirituality. You Are Welcome HereLife is a journey. We all have experienced many different things and are at various stages of our individual journeys. If you're like us -- you've had a handful of victories, suffered more than a few defeats, laughed, cried, questioned, and found few answers. Perhaps you're tired, skeptical, lonely or wondering how in the heck to make sense out of life. No matter where you are on your journey, we invite you to join us on ours. Our journey is one of spiritual discovery as we draw on the Bible, our experiences, and those of people who have gone before us to try and figure out what it means to be followers of Jesus in the pursuit of God.
